Details
Halo is a stand-mounted red light lamp with a 39 × 22 cm panel of 312 LEDs, 104 firing 660 nm red and 208 firing 850 nm near-infrared. The telescopic stand rises and pivots on a 360 degree arm to aim the panel at any seated or standing body area from six to twelve inches away. Wireless remote, brightness adjustable from one to one hundred, built-in timer. Targeted recovery without holding anything in your hand.
What’s included
  • Halo lamp head
  • Telescopic floor stand with 360 degree arm
  • Wireless remote controller
  • Eye-protection goggles
  • UK three-pin power adaptor (Type G)
  • Quick-start guide and dosing chart
How to use
  1. Set up the telescopic stand and clip the lamp head into the 360 degree arm. The arm rotates and tilts to point the panel anywhere from desk height to standing.
  2. Position the panel six to twelve inches from the skin. Closer for higher dose on a smaller area, further for a wider treatment field.
  3. Use the wireless remote to set brightness from one to one hundred and start the timer. Most owners settle around fifty to seventy for daily use, higher for stubborn joint or muscle areas.
  4. Sit or stand still for ten to twenty minutes per area, eye protection on if the beam is near face height. Treat one zone per session: knee one day, shoulder the next, jawline the day after.
  5. The unit shuts off at the end of the timer. Daily rotation across problem areas is what compounds the result over weeks.

Care & maintenance
Wipe the LED face with a dry microfibre cloth weekly to clear dust. The telescopic stand and 360 degree arm pivot and lock; keep the joints clean of dust with the same cloth. Never submerge the lamp head or use chemical cleaners on the LED face. For storage, collapse the stand to its shortest height and rest Halo against a wall. No part is user-serviceable inside the head. Contact us if the beam dims unexpectedly.

What to expect

Recovery, on a timeline.

Cellular recovery is steady, not dramatic. Here is what most users feel and see across the first three months of daily use.

  1. 1Week 1

    Settling in

First sessions. Skin tone subtly brightens. Some users notice falling asleep faster. Mostly your body adapts to the daily routine.

  2. 2Week 2 to 4

    The first real changes

Morning stiffness in knees and shoulders eases. Workout DOMS noticeably reduced. Skin starts feeling firmer to the touch.

  3. 3Month 2

    Compounding effects

Scarring softens. Chronic aches that returned daily now return weekly, or not at all. Energy levels feel more even through the day.

  4. 4Month 3 and beyond

    The new baseline

You stop noticing Halo is on because your body has stopped sending the warning signals you used to live with.

The recovery deficit

You haven't slowed down. Your cells have.

The soreness that lingers two days after the run. The skin that has not quite bounced back since winter. The morning knee twinge you keep dismissing as nothing.

These aren't separate problems. They're the same one. Your cells are short on the energy they need to repair tissue, and no amount of extra sleep on its own is closing the gap.

Red light is how you give that energy back.

Where it works

Four systems. One light.

Red and near-infrared light reach different depths of the body. Both wavelengths fire together every session. Recovery cascades across every system at once.

Skin

660 nm reaches the fibroblasts that build collagen. Tone evens out, scars start to fade, post-procedure inflammation calms faster. Visible changes typically settle in over four to six weeks of daily use.

Muscle

850 nm drives mitochondrial ATP production in damaged tissue. Less DOMS after training, faster rebound between sessions, easier mornings after a long day on your feet.

Joint

850 nm penetrates synovial membranes and surrounding cartilage. The dull morning stiffness in knees, shoulders and lower back responds to consistent, daily exposure over weeks.

Bone

Emerging research supports red and near-infrared light's role in stimulating osteoblasts, the cells that build bone density. Used in post-fracture protocols by sports physios.

What changes

What a targeted lamp routine actually delivers.

Faster training rebound

DOMS that used to lock you up for two full days now down to a quiet morning, then gone. Aim the panel at the worked muscle group for fifteen to twenty minutes after training. 312 LEDs at six inches deliver a dose comparable to a clinic visit, three to five times a week.

Brighter, calmer skin

Tone evens out across the face, neck and jawline. Fine lines soften, scars and post-procedure marks fade faster, redness calms. Position the panel ten to twelve inches from the face at a moderate brightness for ten minute facial sessions, three to four times a week.

Freer joints, easier mornings

Knees that complained at the bottom of every squat start moving quietly again. Shoulders, lower back, hip joints all respond to consistent daily exposure. Twenty minutes aimed at a single joint at full brightness for two weeks tends to do what months of stretching cannot.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Everything about how the device works, what to expect, and how to get the most out of your sessions.

How long should each session be?
Ten to twenty minutes per area, three to five times a week. Skin sessions sit at the shorter end, joint and muscle at the longer. The unit shuts off at the end of the timer.
Can I treat my face with it?
Yes. Position the panel ten to twelve inches from the face, lower the brightness to around forty to sixty, and wear the supplied eye protection throughout the session.
Is the panel hot in use?
The diodes run cool. You will feel a gentle warmth at six inches, not heat. There is no fan because the lamp does not need active cooling.
Is it safe for daily use?
Yes. Non-ionising wavelengths, sub-0.1 µT EMF at six inches, and eye protection in the box. Speak to your GP first if you are on photosensitising medication.
What is the warranty and returns policy?
Thirty-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. One-year manufacturing warranty. Your UK statutory rights apply on top.
Where do you ship?
Free UK mainland delivery. Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and EU on request at checkout.

Knee is the quietest it has been in years

Six weeks in and my knee is the quietest it has been in two years of training. Halo is on every morning before I get out of bed.

Used it on my chin and jaw after a skin treatment. Healed in days, not weeks. My husband actually asked what I was doing differently.

Brilliant device, small quibble

Brilliant device overall. Only complaint is the stand wobbles slightly on uneven floors. Easy fix with a felt pad. Still highly recommend it.

Worth it, just be patient

Best long term investment for the chronic joint issues I have lived with. Did take a full six weeks to really feel a difference though, so do not give up if the first fortnight feels underwhelming.

Lower back has been the centre of my life for ten years. After a month with Halo it has stopped being the first thing I think about every morning.

Took longer than expected

Halo works, but took longer to see results than I expected. Bear with it for six weeks before judging. After two months I am a convert though.
